Célia Untitled est née le 24 décembre 2021 à la Bourse de Commerce-Pinault Collection lors d’une poésie-performance non-autorisée, au centre de l’installation éponyme d’Urs Fischer.

Untitled (sans titre) est une sorte de non-nom. C’est devenir quelqu’un en devenant Personne, célèbre ruse d’Ulysse pour échapper à l’œil rond et globalisant de Polyphème, d’une œuvre elle-même sans auteur. Échapper, donc, à une langue bavarde ou à une compréhension identitaire médusante. Interroger jusqu’au substantif d’Artiste, au statut et à l’acception occidentale pétrifiante. Préférer au nom « propre », la sémantique de la fosse commune des saltimbanques, des gens du voyage et de la métamorphose. Écriture de l’Informe, de l’Ouvert, d’une relation à l’Autre (humain ou non-humain), et à soi-même libératrice. Musicalité affective, atmosphérique.

Artiste de l’entre-deux, Célia Untitled a d’abord travaillé « sur le terrain », telle une anthropologue, au contact des publics dans des milieux artistiques très différents, allant du patrimoine architectural à la musique jazz en passant par le théâtre, l’agriculture urbaine ou l’art contemporain. C’est à New York, Miami, Los Angeles puis Londres qu’elle a exercé en tant que médiatrice culturelle dans des musées et fondations d’art contemporain de renommée internationale. De retour en France, elle débute le théâtre et cherche à « briser le quatrième mur ». Parallèlement à une écriture se faisant de plus en plus pressante et une recherche de plasticité des mots, elle découvre la performance, espace formidable de liberté et d’expérimentation. Elle souhaite, par ses performances et installations, ouvrir un « vrai » espace de rencontre, espace poétique, donnant lieu à une écriture individuelle et collective.

Artist of the in-between, Célia Untitled has first worked “on the ground” like an anthropologist, working in contact with audiences in a wide variety of artistic environments, from architecture to music, theater and contemporary art. On her return to France, she took up acting, trying to “break the fourth wall”.
